What's your relationship with God
What’s your relationship with God?
“My relationship with God is that of a guide and a friend, and perhaps it’s the only relationship that has no end, hence a permanent one God is a friend in need who guides me in every deed.”
Define what God means to you: “God means a lot more to me than words can ever explain. From God comes my strength, my weakness, my inspiration, my creativity, my security, and most importantly, my purpose in life. God is the womb in which my soul matures.”
Do you have a deity/idol that you pray to?: “I read the Sukhmani Sahab almost daily, I have also been praying to Lord Shiva, and Hanumaanji, from a very early age. But I think of God as a divine light. As I’m travelling a lot, I hardly get to sit and pray in a room, so I just shut my eyes and connect to God wherever I happen to be.”
What does being religious mean to you?: “Being religious means to respect and value God’s creativity. Value and respect for others’ lives, ideologies, and their well-being. Value and take care of the nature God has created for us. Being religious for me is being human.”
